Based on the proven Evidence Based Stock Management (EBSM®) methodology, collectionHQ (CHQ) provides action plans to help librarians develop and manage their collection, saving time and money, improving turnover and aligning the collection with local demand. What's more, collectionHQ is the only solution that works in conjunction with any ILS system so even if you change your ILS vendor, historic circulation is retained.

Evidence-based Selection Planning (ESP) brings the art of Baker & Taylor's collection development expertise together with the science of collectionHQ's data analytics to create a decision support system integrated with TitleSource 360™. ESP helps public libraries to select the right current and pre-published titles in the right quantities for their communities.

Summer Reading
Summer Reading

Our expanded Summer Reading Program supports the needs of public library youth services. In addition to CATS support of the summer reading programs with incentive prize books that are offered at a discounted bulk rate, this year we are incorporating digital elements into the program. For details, contact your CATS Regional Manager.

Incentive Book Prizes (IBP)
This year there are over 850 unique Summer Reading Prize Incentive title options to order, at a bulk discount rate, for babies to teens. These are available in the Children's & Teen section under Selection Lists in TS360.

Multiple author events will be available for libraries which purchase a minimum of 25 copies from the IBP or purchase the MUPO package. Access to the events will be provided once the required purchases are verified. Scheduled authors listed below.

Sustainable Shelves

Sustainable Shelves Program is a complimentary service that helps your library responsibly and sustainably discard weeded or unwanted books from your collections. Just provide us with list of titles you wish to remove from your library, and we will assign a value to each ISBN, pick up the books, and compensate you quickly with either a check or a credit to put towards materials, softwares or services from Baker & Taylor. We’ll even pick up the titles that we don’t consider resaleable, and we will work to responsibly recycle the material on your behalf. Together, we can keep your collections clean and fresh, while also demonstrating a core value of librarianship.
